Air Astraeus - Kite Surf Baggage Policy

Standard Baggage Allowance for adult and child passengers on Astraeus flights is one piece, weighing no more than 20kgs (check ticket/coupon for any variations). There is no baggage allowance for infants. Excess charges will be charged to any passenger that exceeds the allocated luggage allowance. Excess luggage charges for the following destinations are charged at:
Golf Club sets are all charged at £20 GBP for the round trip. Payment can be made at the airport on the day of departure. Bicycles are charged at £40 GBP for the round trip. All bicycles must be presented to check-in in the following condition. Bicycles must be packed with the handlebars fixed sideways, pedals removed and tyres partially deflated. Payment can be made at the airport on the day of departure. Sub-Aqua Equipment On all Astraeus flights, for a payment of £20 GBP, divers can purchase another 10kg on top of their normal luggage allowance for the round trip. For an extra £50 GBP, you may take another 25kg. Thereafter, normal excess charges will apply.
Please ensure that tanks are empty and the cylinder valve loose before presentation at check-in. Payment can be made at the airport on the day of departure. Body Boards Due to the light weight and small size of body boards, they will be included in your normal luggage allowance.Therefore, they will be subject to normal excess charges and must be suitably packaged for presentation at check-in. Drain plugs must be removed. Infants are each allocated 1 additional free item of infant equipment, (push chairs, and travel/carry cots) for carriage. They do not form part of any other passenger’s allowance. On request, they will be accepted up to the point of entry onto the aircraft by our handling agents, to be placed in the aircraft hold. Surfboards/Windsurfs/Kite-Surfs are charged at £40 GBP for the round trip and must be suitably contained on presentation at check-in. Carriage is subject to availability of space and weight on the aircraft on the day of departure. Payment can be made at the airport, on the day of departure. Skis/Snowboards/Poles/Boots carriage policy is controlled by your tour operator and all requirements in regard to booking and payment of carriage must be made to your operator. Fishing Rods must be suitably packed at presentation for carriage. They form part of your luggage allowance and are therefore subject to normal excess charges. Astraeus requests that all items are suitably packed before presentation at check-in and we strongly recommend that your travel insurance covers all your items of luggage. |
